Ode to Cocoa
In this project, we transformed the premises of the iconic brand Cacao Sampaka, on Serrano Street in Madrid, into an authentic chocolate temple. A space conceived to narrate, through materials, light, and distribution, the entire journey of cocoa: from its origin to becoming a gastronomic jewel.
The design revolves around the product. The central display unit, made of microcement with cocoa shavings, organizes the flow of the space and presents the collections as unique pieces. In the niches, the brass-plated metal creates a precise contrast with the packaging and guides attention to the essentials.
The basement, designed for workshops, tastings, and events, provides new nuances through stained oak wood, careful lighting, and a warm and immersive atmosphere that amplifies the sensory experience.
