Interior de diseño de Las bordas del Mentidero por Mil Studios

The architecture and interior design of La Borda del Mentidero restaurant is inspired by art deco greenhouses and the traditional mountain huts of the Pyrenees, made of wood and stone and used for housing farming products and livestock.

For the El Mentidero group, we designed a newly constructed 1,200 square-meter, 8-meter-high building with a leafy “garden” hanging from its wooden beams and the roof. With a style half-industrial and half-countryside, and with a sophisticated and welcoming British touch, the result is a spectacular space where natural recycled wood and light take center stage.

For decoration, we combined natural textiles like leather, wool tartans, and linens, with antique upholstered furniture, Chester leather, and lamps designed by our studio. In short: an avant-garde space that blends tradition and nature, infused with tributes and references, and bathed in natural tones such as olive green and mustard.
